Let me announce my small very indie project – the flash based 2D strategic game “Rebel Flash III”.
Why “III”? O.k, actually there is not previous part, but… I just like the way its fit the logo :).
The main difference of the game from other turn-based 2D projects is two model of showing the battlefield.
In moving phase or in bare hands/cold weapon fighting you see standard map, but in fire mode you get graphics primitives/shapes with represent an obstacles and units. This substitution make shooting more realistic in some way, because every shot is tracing and you can see its trajectory.
Here some my thoughts about replayability.
I plan use 2 main components to achieve high level of replayability: randomness and variation of gameplay.
